Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join FES - Foundation for Educational Services Inc. as an Assistant Vice President of Business Development. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth initiatives in the Northeast region, building strong relationships with Higher Education institutions, and developing strategic plans to achieve business objectives.

About the Position

  • Pursue new business opportunities and enhance existing relationships with clients in the Higher Education sector.
  • Develop and execute annual sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and assess client needs, promoting Inceptia's products and services as solutions.
  • Represent Inceptia at industry events, delivering professional subject matter presentations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Northeast region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Higher Education institutions and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive revenue growth and achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote Inceptia's products and services.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university is required; a graduate degree is preferred.
  • A self-motivated individual with two years of relevant experience or training in Higher Education Administration, Higher Education Consulting, or a related field; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven self-starter with a measurable track record of sales success.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and negotiate effectively.
  • A solid interest in creativity and innovation and their positive impact on business growth.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while collaborating with individuals both within and outside the organization.
  • In-depth knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, and procedures related to Higher Education.
  • A sound understanding of basic higher education enrollment and financial aid principles.
  • Successful completion of a background check is required.
