We are seeking a skilled and motivated Telecommunications Sales Representative to join our team at TDS Telecom. As a key contributor to our consumer strategy, you will play a vital role in growing, delighting, and retaining our customers.

About the Role

In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for handling inbound calls and managing outbound follow-up funnels. You will serve as the primary point of contact for consumer customers inquiring about products and services, providing thorough understanding of features and benefits of all TDS Telecom's consumer products and services. Additionally, you will keep current on all pricing, procedures, promotions, tools, and systems used to place orders, update billing, and maintain records of customer contacts.

Our ideal candidate will have 6+ months experience in a sales role, with a strong background in negotiating, selling, and closing skills. You will also possess excellent interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver sales results by providing exceptional customer service.
  • Exceed or meet monthly sales goals of strategic products such as Voice, High Speed Data, TV, and Internet Content Product Offerings.
  • Consult with customers on service calls to identify technology needs and offer TDS product solutions.
  • Maintain and grow existing customer base through exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • 6+ months experience in a sales role.
  • Excellent negotiation, selling, and closing skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and priorities.
