HVAC Technical Sales Representative

Job Overview: Building Automation Products, Inc. is a family-owned business with a global presence that promotes work-life balance. We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technical Sales Representative to join our team.
About the Role: As a Key Account Specialist, you will play a crucial role in selling BAPI's HVAC/R Sensors by leveraging your technical expertise and customer knowledge to influence customers and drive revenue growth. Your primary responsibilities will include developing sales forecasts, establishing positive long-term relationships with customers, and working closely with Customer Service Representatives to ensure they have the necessary information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Determine market strategies and goals for products, obtain and coordinate data from BAPI staff, and establish positive long-term relationships with customers.
- Customer Relationship Management: Work with new and existing customers to develop relevant BAPI sales forecasts, research and develop lists of potential customers, and conduct market research to determine customer needs.
- Sales Presentation and Closing: Develop and deliver sales presentations, close sales in a professional and effective manner, and maintain up-to-date awareness of activities, industry trends, and government regulations.
- New Product Development: Participate in the development of new products, modification of existing products, and termination of ineffective products in an effective and professional manner.
Requirements:
- Education: Associate's Degree or Trade/Technical School diploma; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Experience: Three (3+) years' experience in sales, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word), strong written and oral communications skills, and experience in HVAC/R.
- Skills: Strong customer focus, positive attitude, professional phone voice, time management, attention to detail, flexibility, critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and excellent communication skills.

Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
