Job Overview: Building Automation Products, Inc. is a family-owned business with a global presence that promotes work-life balance. We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technical Sales Representative to join our team.

About the Role: As a Key Account Specialist, you will play a crucial role in selling BAPI's HVAC/R Sensors by leveraging your technical expertise and customer knowledge to influence customers and drive revenue growth. Your primary responsibilities will include developing sales forecasts, establishing positive long-term relationships with customers, and working closely with Customer Service Representatives to ensure they have the necessary information.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy Development: Determine market strategies and goals for products, obtain and coordinate data from BAPI staff, and establish positive long-term relationships with customers.
  2. Customer Relationship Management: Work with new and existing customers to develop relevant BAPI sales forecasts, research and develop lists of potential customers, and conduct market research to determine customer needs.
  3. Sales Presentation and Closing: Develop and deliver sales presentations, close sales in a professional and effective manner, and maintain up-to-date awareness of activities, industry trends, and government regulations.
  4. New Product Development: Participate in the development of new products, modification of existing products, and termination of ineffective products in an effective and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Education: Associate's Degree or Trade/Technical School diploma; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Experience: Three (3+) years' experience in sales, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word), strong written and oral communications skills, and experience in HVAC/R.
  • Skills: Strong customer focus, positive attitude, professional phone voice, time management, attention to detail, flexibility, critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and excellent communication skills.

Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
