Position Overview

As a vital member of our team at Stokes Automotive Group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive the right parts for their vehicles. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to our commitment to excellent service.

  • Customer Assistance: Provide friendly and professional support to customers in selecting the necessary parts.
  • Product Knowledge: Inform customers about related parts and current promotions, ensuring they are aware of our complete product offerings.
  • Communication: Handle phone inquiries, offering price quotes and detailed information.
  • Order Accuracy: Review service estimates to confirm that ordered parts are correct and pricing aligns with estimates.
  • Service Excellence: Deliver high-quality service to both internal and external customers.
  • Inventory Management: Pull and fill orders from stock efficiently.
  • Stock Notifications: Alert the parts manager about out-of-stock items or materials requiring immediate attention.
  • Emergency Orders: Source out-of-stock parts from external suppliers and place emergency orders when necessary.
  • Order Updates: Notify service advisors and customers when special orders arrive.
  • Delivery Coordination: Inform service teams when all parts are received and ready for delivery.
  • Back-Order Follow-Up: Monitor and follow up on back-ordered parts.
  • Inventory Verification: Regularly check will-call and back-order files, returning or stocking items as needed.
  • Daily Replenishment: Ensure assigned inventory is replenished each day.
  • Billing Management: Ensure all internal parts requests are billed correctly on service repair orders.
  • Payment Processing: Collect payments from retail customers or obtain necessary credit authorizations.
  • Sales Documentation: Ensure all charge sales are properly signed by customers and that they receive their invoice copies.
  • Returns Management: Process returns for parts, verifying original invoices or numbers for accurate purchase and pricing verification.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain organized records of repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special orders.
  • Order Preparation: Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or customer pick-up.
  • Workspace Maintenance: Keep counter areas clean and organized.
  • Training Participation: Engage in all available training programs to enhance your skills.
  • Product Awareness: Stay updated on new products and updates in the industry.
  • Professional Appearance: Maintain a professional look in the workplace.
Requirements
  • Previous experience or training in a similar role is preferred.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required, along with one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
