Role Summary


The Junior Client Support Specialist is tasked with delivering direct assistance and guidance to clients; managing referrals; coordinating the needs of participants; and aiding clients in formulating a sustainable action plan.

Core Duties

Conduct personalized case management sessions. Evaluate and interview clients to identify their needs and eligibility.


Keep precise records for each client to enhance service delivery and measure the impact on clients and their families.


As necessary, facilitate access to appropriate services for clients, assist in scheduling appointments, connect clients with service providers; initiate the intake process to provide urgent support.

Establish connections with local housing providers and landlords to support families in need.

Implement the internal "Seven Touches Approach" which will be detailed upon hiring. Must be adept at managing the intake process for a significant number of clients efficiently.

Engage in social service training, team meetings, and other required gatherings.

Input client information into the internal database; maintain comprehensive case notes to monitor client development.

Qualifications

A combination of education and experience that equips the individual with the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to fulfill the responsibilities of this role. An Associate's degree in Human Services or a Bachelor's degree in Social Work is advantageous.

Strong written and verbal communication skills; exceptional listening abilities

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, including community professionals; engagement through electronic communication

Demonstrates integrity and a positive demeanor; self-motivated individual who shows initiative while adapting to changing circumstances

COVID vaccination is preferred
