Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inquiries from clients, healthcare providers, and associated representatives regarding eligibility, benefits, and claims-related issues.
  • Utilize relevant regulations and procedural guidelines to provide accurate responses to inquiries.
  • Analyze claims data to identify specific issues and communicate with external parties to gather necessary information.
  • Conduct thorough research to resolve inquiries in accordance with contractual obligations.
  • Engage with clients to determine the appropriate authorization or referral for services.
  • Process claims for adjudication, correction, or payment as required.
  • Educate providers on billing practices to minimize claim discrepancies.
  • Interact professionally with individuals in various situations to maintain a positive corporate image.
  • Respond to inquiries through multiple communication channels (written, phone, web, or email) within established timeframes.
  • Document and record data for customer service metrics and analysis.
  • Notify supervisory staff of any system issues and conduct research to provide supporting data when necessary.

Minimum Qualifications
  • U.S. citizenship is required due to regulatory restrictions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two or more years of experience in a customer service role.
  • Familiarity with medical and insurance terminology.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to navigate multiple programs and dual monitor setups.
