Fairview Health Services, a leading nonprofit healthcare organization, is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Contact Center Representative to provide exceptional customer service and support to our patients, families, and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer all incoming calls from our 10 metro hospitals 24/7, providing a warm and welcoming experience to our patients and families.
  • Assist physicians, patients, staff, and visitors with their needs, ensuring timely and effective resolution to their inquiries.
  • Act as a liaison for after-hours physician answering services, providing critical support to our healthcare teams.
  • Activate time-sensitive emergency codes across our system, ensuring prompt response to critical situations.
  • Operate PC windows-based computers and related applications, utilizing data entry and keyboarding skills to manage patient information and communicate with healthcare teams.
  • Utilize paging applications to communicate with providers and hospital response teams, ensuring seamless coordination of care.
Requirements:
  • 6 months or more experience in customer service, with a strong focus on patient care and communication.
  • Data entry and keyboarding skills, with the ability to accurately and efficiently manage patient information.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing situations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education, with a focus on healthcare or a related field.
  • 1 or more years call center customer service experience, with a strong understanding of medical terminology.
  • 1 or more years customer service experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on patient care and communication.
Work Schedule:

This is a part-time position, approximately 65 hours in a two-week pay cycle. The schedule will vary, but will include working every other weekend and holidays on a rotation.
