Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Structural Investigation Technician to join our Facilities Team at ECS Group of Companies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting field observations, investigations, and forensic analyses to ensure the structural integrity of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

* Conducting field observations and investigations at existing facilities to identify potential structural issues
* Performing destructive and non-destructive testing, including anchor bolt testing, ground penetrating radar surveys, concrete core drilling, and material sampling
* Documenting observations and findings in detailed written reports
* Collaborating with site contractors, technicians, and project managers to ensure effective communication and project delivery

Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent required
* 1+ year of relevant construction experience preferred
* Degree in engineering or related field a plus, but not required
* Professional certifications (WACEL or ACI) a plus, but not required
* Ability to lift and carry 40-100 lbs. multiple times a day
* Reliable transportation for use on job sites, with mileage reimbursement provided
