Structural Auto Body Repair Specialist

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Structural Auto Body Technician to repair and restore vehicles with structural damage. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in repairing and rebuilding vehicle frames, aligning frames and suspension systems, and using specialized tools and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments of structural damage on vehicles to determine the scope of repairs needed.
- Disassemble damaged vehicles to assess the extent of structural damage and identify any hidden damage.
- Repair and rebuild vehicle frames to factory specifications using specialized tools and techniques.
- Align frames and suspension systems to ensure proper vehicle handling and safety.
- Replace damaged body panels and parts with new or used parts, depending on the customer's preference and budget.
- Utilize specialized welding techniques to repair damaged metal parts, including MIG, TIG, and resistance welding.
- Utilize computerized measuring systems to ensure proper alignment and repairs.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure clear understanding of repair needs and timelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in auto body repair, with an emphasis on structural repairs.
- Knowledge of welding techniques and use of specialized tools and equipment.
- Experience in frame and suspension alignment.
- Ability to read and interpret repair orders and technical manuals.
- Attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Relevant certification(s) such as ASE Structural Technician or I-CAR Gold Class certification is preferred.
- Experience utilizing Car-O-Liner, Chief, Genesis, or Celette highly preferred.
We are seeking candidates for this position who meet specific qualifications. A valid driver's license is a mandatory requirement, and successful candidates must also pass a mandatory drug test. Additionally, a clean driving record is essential for consideration.
