Job Title: Global Sourcing Manager

Hamilton Beach Brands, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Global Sourcing Manager to lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies for key suppliers and products. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams across the globe to maintain a reliable, cost-effective, supportive, and resilient supply chain to support HBB's strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for key suppliers to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply chain.
  • Collaborate with product category teams and sourcing team members in the USA and Asia to provide strategic direction, technical and business advice, and support for issue resolution.
  • Manage and ensure the implementation of the supplier-base management system to identify, select, and onboard new suppliers, rationalize the supplier base, measure and track suppliers' KPI performance, and manage sourcing strategies for key suppliers and products.
  • Contribute to managing and ensuring the implementation of the supplier geographic diversification strategy.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments, including Quality, Planning, Finance, Sales, CBD, Legal, to provide advice, technical expertise, support, and follow-up in issue resolution.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, or business administration.
  • 3+ years of professional and management experience in Global Sourcing, Procurement, and Supply Chain with a deep understanding of best practices and world-class processes.
  • 3+ years of people management experience in a global context.
  • Strong sense of ownership and sense of urgency, driven and motivated.
  • Ability to lead and influence change in the face of complexity and ambiguity.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key department and team members.
  • Ability to lead complex and critical negotiations with internal departmental and team members, suppliers, and third parties.
