Key Responsibilities:

The Director of Market Development is responsible for:
  • Enhancing customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Overseeing the field technical team to support Pandrol's growth strategies.
  • Facilitating and managing the launch of new products to strengthen Pandrol's market presence.
  • Implementing the PANDROL sales strategy to achieve ATW objectives.
  • Ensuring adherence to the sales process within the designated area (Offer to Cash).
  • Establishing and monitoring the sales budget and managing CRM activities.
  • Collaborating with the Pandrol Sales Team and Site Leaders.
  • Leading a prompt and effective response program for customer inquiries and claims.
  • Managing the ATW laboratory operations.
Detailed Activities:
  • The Director of Market Development must cultivate customer relationships by identifying needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • He is tasked with devising and executing strategies to retain current customers.
  • He will also create and implement strategies aimed at increasing market share and attracting new clients.
  • He is responsible for promoting the complete range of ATW and EQC products, including new offerings.
  • He prepares commercial and technical proposals for clients and oversees the proposals generated by the sales team.
  • He develops the annual budget and manages its execution along with monthly reviews.
  • He establishes corrective measures to ensure targets are met.
  • He is responsible for preparing monthly reports for management.
  • He directly supervises the field technical team and laboratory personnel.
  • He serves as the technical liaison between his market and the Global Product Lines.
  • He is a primary contact for local welding associations, if applicable.
