Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Records Specialist to join our team at Ladgov Corporation. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining soldier medical and dental records, ensuring accurate and timely documentation, and providing exceptional support to our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and safeguard medical and dental records, adhering to classification levels and dissemination protocols.
  • Create, process, and review medical and dental records for incoming, current, and exiting members, utilizing the Health Readiness Records (HRR) module.
  • Ensure completeness of medical records prior to individuals leaving for Basic Military Training, Schools, Transfer, Discharge, Retirement, and all MREs.
  • Prescreen SM medical records for all scheduled MREs to identify medical/dental health issues that require evaluation for deployment eligibility.
  • Conduct quarterly medical/dental record inventory of SM files and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist Service Members in scheduling appointments with medical and dental facilities and provide case updates and medical records requests.
  • Maintain medical/dental office and hospital contacts for case updates and medical records requests.
  • Provide all medical and dental documents received for case management to Medical Command, MEARNG medical records custodian after uploading and indexing in the appropriate DOD system.

Requirements:

  • 2 years' experience as a Medical Record Technician.
