Job Title: Clinical Technology Specialist

ForTec Medical is a leading provider of innovative surgical technologies, and we are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Technology Specialist to join our operations team.

Job Summary

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and has a strong background in medical equipment and technology. As a Clinical Technology Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to surgeons and hospital staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our mobilized medical equipment, and delivering innovative surgical technologies to hospitals and surgery centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain mobilized medical equipment, including surgical lasers, imaging devices, and other medical devices.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to surgeons and staff before and during surgery.
  • Perform pre-operative checklists, sterilization, and laser calibrations, and complete required paperwork.
  • Review patient procedure requirements with surgeons and staff before the case.
  • Conduct medical equipment inventories and ensure that all equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
  • Practice safe vehicle operations, safe workplace practices, and laser safety techniques.
  • Create a team-oriented working relationship with both ForTec employees and client employees.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior medical, EMT, Surgical Technologist, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or military experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule with some early mornings or occasional evening cases; occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Ability to push, pull, or manipulate over 50 pounds of medical equipment.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Professional demeanor.
