Job Summary

The University of Saint Augustine seeks a highly qualified and experienced Clinical Education Coordinator to join our team. This is a full-time position that requires a post-professional doctoral degree and a minimum of 3 years of post-licensure clinical practice. The successful candidate will have a strong background in physical therapy education and a proven track record of teaching, scholarship, and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee the clinical education portion of the DPT curriculum
  • Prepare and deliver course instruction as assigned
  • Maintain an environment conducive to learning and facilitate student participation
  • Assess student performance, monitor student progress, and provide timely feedback
  • Interact with program faculty at all campuses regarding clinical education and doctoral experiential component/residency curriculum
  • Advises entry-level students with academic and/or personal issues
  • Sets scholarship plan, implements plan as prescribed by accreditation standards
  • Serves on programmatic and university committees as assigned
  • Serves as university liaison in community and/or professional activities
Requirements
  • Post-professional doctoral degree required
  • Minimum of 3 years of post-licensure clinical practice
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice as SCCE or CI in Physical Therapy or a minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching, curriculum development and administration in a Physical Therapy program
  • Experience with distance learning preferred
  • Experience in scholarly activity preferred
  • Must be currently licensed as a Physical Therapist in campus specific state
Work Environment

Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment but may involve exposure to moderate noise levels. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for six to eight hours daily and includes physical demands associated with a traditional office setting, e.g., walking, standing, communicating, and other physical functions as necessary.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $65,205 - $109,494 for an Instructor rank, $76,860 - $129,150 for an Assistant Professor rank, $86,835 - $151,074 for an Associate Professor rank, and $102,480 - $178,290 for a Professor rank.
