Job Title: Development and Marketing Associate

YWCA Hartford Region is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Development and Marketing Associate to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a mission-driven organization dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.

Job Summary:

The Development and Marketing Associate will assist in and support fundraising and marketing operations within the organization. This role will report to the Chief Development Officer and work closely with the Development team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date data in the donor database, ensuring timely and accurate data-entry.
  • Provide donor stewardship, including timely management of donor acknowledgement and recognition, reporting, and communications.
  • Assist in updating website content and coordinate update schedules with various departments.
  • Support social media marketing, including both YWCA and Persimmon Petals.
  • Collaborate with the Development staff in compiling and preparing fundraising reports, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide support to various committees and volunteers during fundraising campaigns and events.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree preferred.
  • One to three years' experience in Bloomerang, fundraising, donor, or other relevant databases required.
  • Experience in creative design programs such as Indesign or Canva is desirable but not required.
  • Knowledge and experience in social media marketing and website content management desirable.
Working Conditions:

The Development Associate is a non-exempt position. Work schedule Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm. Some weekend and evening hours will be required.

$22 to $26 per hour
