Experience Level: Mid to Senior

Compensation:

  • Level 1: 7 years of experience + BS degree or additional 5 years of experience: $135K-$144K
  • Level 2: 14 years of experience + BS degree or additional 5 years of experience: $225K-$237K
(Initial compensation is based on the lower end of the salary range, with potential for higher amounts based on candidate choices regarding PTO and healthcare options.)

Job Responsibilities:
Candidates should possess extensive integration experience and demonstrate a high level of expertise in designing and developing capabilities for complex systems with stringent interface, performance, and security requirements. The selected candidate will provide systems engineering expertise in various domains, including:
  • Architecture and design
  • Development and requirements analysis
  • Data flow and network design/implementation
  • Testing and documentation
Responsibilities include:
  • Analyzing user requirements and system specifications
  • Developing system architecture and design documentation
  • Supporting system development and implementation planning
  • Conducting risk assessments and alternative analyses
  • Creating test procedures and defining success criteria

Key Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in system architecture, design, and development
  • Minimum of 7 years in network design or foundational networking
  • Experience with infrastructure components such as servers, switches, and firewalls
  • Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux systems
  • Experience in requirements verification and traceability
  • Solid understanding of secure systems engineering

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in System Engineering, Engineering Science, Computer Science, or a related field with at least 12 years of experience
  • Experience transitioning legacy systems into new architectures
  • Familiarity with model-based systems engineering and risk management
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
