The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and learning skills, with the ability to assess patient status, implement clinical nursing interventions, and develop patient care plans to enhance outcomes. As a role model, advisor, resource, and leader for other members of the patient care team, you will promote a unified and spirited workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee clinical operations for the HICU
  • Ensure safe, age-appropriate patient care during hours of unit operation
  • Assess patient status and implement clinical nursing interventions
  • Develop patient care plans to enhance outcomes
  • Lead and mentor other members of the patient care team

Requirements:

  • BSN degree
  • National certification preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Maryland Registered Nurse License (RN)
  • American Heart Association CPR Certification (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
