Job Overview

As a key member of our Food and Beverage team, the Banquet Bartender plays a vital role in delivering exceptional service at our prestigious events. This position requires flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate various event needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to all operational procedures established by the Food and Beverage Department.
  • Uphold food and beverage safety standards and quality as per hotel and franchise guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a secure working environment.
  • Address and resolve guest inquiries and concerns related to beverage service.
  • Facilitate effective communication with the General Manager and other department leaders.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team.
Service Duties

Efficiently take beverage orders and prepare a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as light meals, ensuring adherence to hotel standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and equipment, and manage stock levels effectively.

Qualifications
  • At least one year of experience in the food and beverage sector.
  • Must meet the minimum age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety guidelines and operational manuals.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred.
  • ServSafe certification or food safety training is advantageous.
  • Completion of alcohol awareness training (e.g., TIPS) is beneficial.
  • Understanding of food and beverage cost management.
  • Proficient in basic mathematical calculations.
  • Bilingual capabilities, particularly in English and Spanish, are a plus.
  • Knowledge of local attractions and activities suitable for guests.
