Job Overview

Volt Workforce Solutions is currently hiring for a Help Desk Support Specialist to join our team in Irvine, CA. This is a full-time opportunity that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service to clients via phone, addressing their queries and concerns related to product warranties, labor payments, and other support-related issues. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in a customer-facing role, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide phone support to customers, resolving their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Analyze customer requests and escalate complex issues to senior team members when necessary
  • Create confirmation documentation for registered units and maintain accurate records
  • Explain warranty information and guidelines to customers, contractors, and internal teams
  • Research SAP to determine customer eligibility for labor payments
  • Assist customers in finding Contractors and Distributors through the Navien website
  • Handle denials and difficult conversations with customers, providing clear explanations and resolutions
  • Check voicemails twice daily and respond to customer inquiries as needed
  • Gather and enter data from mailed-in registration cards into CIC daily

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a call center environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly
  • Strong typing skills (45 WPM) and 10-key abilities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
