Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Operations Specialist/Office Coordinator to join our team at IDEX. This role will be responsible for providing administrative support to our HR team and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Operations:
    • Manage the HRIS, payroll, and timekeeping systems to ensure data integrity.
    • Lead the annual benefits open enrollment process, including communications and employee benefit questions.
    • Perform payroll activities for approximately 90 hourly and salaried employees on a bi-weekly basis.
    • Manage employee personnel files, both hardcopy and electronic.
    • Coordinate recruitment efforts, including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate hosting.
    • Conduct new employee orientation and coordinate HR communications and employee activities.
    • Manage leave administration and HR metrics, reports, and surveys.
    • Manage workers' compensation claims.
  • Office Management:
    • Provide administrative support to our Global President and other global leaders.
    • Manage vendor relationships, including coffee and furniture vendors.
    • Develop and prepare reports, presentations, and spreadsheets as needed.
    • Coordinate virtual meetings and prepare expense reports for global leaders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of human resource experience in a comparable role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with HRIS, timekeeping, and payroll systems (Workday and Dimensions preferred).
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office applications, with strong use of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Prior experience with leave management and workers' compensation required.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Knowledge of core federal and state laws pertaining to employee relations.
