Job Opportunity

Pinnacle Engineering Group is seeking a Site Development Leadership Position to lead our site development team. Located in the Suburban Chicago area, this position will be responsible for overseeing the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific site development projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.

Positional Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, or other discipline relevant to the firm's services.
  • Professional Registration.
  • 4 years minimum of post-college experience in Infrastructure Design with a working history in hands-on design and construction services, staff leadership and development, project management, and maintenance of a profitable line of business.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve complex issues with multiple decision-making entities.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated ability to work extended hours when necessary.
  • Demonstrated ability to take on multiple responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with personal safety while on construction sites.

Technical Responsibilities:

  • Unsupervised design, consulting, and preparation of engineering documents for a wide range of project types and sizes.
  • Project and personnel management (internal staff and external project consultants) for consulting projects, including marketing, contract management, billing/collection, and project profitability for PEG projects.

Our designs deliver innovative solutions to satisfy client needs while addressing cost effectiveness, constructability, safety, schedule, and aesthetics utilizing an industry competitive fee structure. Estimated salary: $130,000 - $160,000 per year based on location and experience.
