Job Description

**Job Summary:**

Global Resource Solutions, Inc. (GRS) is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Construction Surveillance Technician (CST). As a CST, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of construction projects by detecting and preventing the introduction of hostile surveillance devices.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Monitor and observe construction workers to prevent the introduction of electronic, electrical, mechanical, or other types of hostile surveillance monitoring devices into finished construction.
  • Screen all equipment, materials, and furnishings destined for use in the controlled construction area using X-ray machines and other approved methods.
  • Operate proposed inspection equipment to ensure compliance with security protocols.
  • Utilize knowledge of construction disciplines, including civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and electronic engineering principles, to analyze designs and blueprints.
  • Analyze designs and structural complexities to identify potential security risks.
  • Exercise knowledge of Technical Surveillance Countermeasures, construction principles, and the types of devices used by hostile and friendly intelligence services for clandestine surveillance.
  • Write detailed reports in English and complete analyses of issues, findings, and security situations requiring staff action.
  • Maintain daily logs during tours of duty.

**Requirements:**

  • Two to Four years of related experience.

**Security Requirements:**

  • Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.

**Skills:**

  • Ability to read and analyze designs and blueprints and recognize intended use.
  • Knowledge of Technical Surveillance Countermeasures, construction principles, and the types of devices used by hostile and friendly intelligence services for clandestine surveillance.
  • Ability to read/write English language.

**Physical Requirements:**

  • Ability to sit, bend, reach, stoop, squat, stand, and walk.

**Communication:**

  • Excellent customer service via phone and face-to-face conversation.
  • Excellent written and oral command of English.
