| Position Overview: | As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will play a crucial role in our team, engaging closely with our patients. This position is centered around building a trusting rapport with clients, ensuring they feel comfortable and supported throughout their rehabilitation journey. You will facilitate patient flow within our facility and inspire patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals. A commitment to learning is essential, as you will receive training on our procedures and gain insights into physical therapy and biomechanical principles to assist our therapists in delivering the highest quality of care.

| Key Responsibilities: |
  • Report to the Physical Therapy Site Director.
  • Arrive punctually and prepare for the day's activities.
  • Greet patients by name upon their arrival and throughout their treatment.
  • Assist therapists in preparing patients for initial therapeutic activities.
  • Effectively communicate patient needs to customer service representatives, insurance specialists, or therapists as needed.
  • Help patients complete insurance documentation and necessary paperwork to ensure seamless care.
  • Support therapists in guiding patients through their activities according to the treatment plan.
  • Provide constructive feedback to patients regarding their form and technique as directed by the therapist.
  • Perform opening and closing duties of the facility, ensuring readiness for the next day.
  • Participate in regular training sessions with physical therapists.
