We are seeking a Territory Sales Representative for Henderson Products who will be accountable for driving direct sales growth, managing accounts, and executing marketing initiatives within the designated region of Missouri.
Your leadership will be crucial in upholding the company's reputation among end users, including local municipalities and truck dealers, for delivering quality products and services.
Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies to meet territory sales objectives.
Delivering an exceptional customer experience from initial quote through delivery and ongoing support.
Managing the territory effectively, including understanding customer needs and establishing buying cycles.
Recommending marketing initiatives, regional trade shows, and other targeted activities to promote Henderson Products cost-effectively.
Identifying revenue opportunities and monitoring competitive trends, keeping management informed as necessary.
Maintaining communication with municipal customers regarding available services, equipment, pricing, and new product offerings, including complete snow and ice removal trucks, brine equipment, parts, and services.
Assisting customers in selecting appropriate snow and ice truck equipment for specific applications.
Providing support for product troubleshooting and resolution.
Traveling occasionally (including overnight trips) to manage the assigned territory effectively.
Possessing knowledge of product features, benefits, and applications, along with strong selling techniques and the ability to close sales within the municipal sector.
Managing the municipal bid process when necessary.WHAT WE PROVIDE:

QUALIFICATIONS:
A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is required.
3-5 years of experience in direct sales or account management is preferred.
Experience in the truck equipment industry and municipal sales is advantageous but not mandatory.
A willingness to acquire extensive knowledge of the truck equipment industry, particularly in snow and ice products.
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills; ability to work with truck equipment specifications.
Proficiency in Microsoft products, including Excel and Word, in a Windows environment.
Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and follow-up skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a strong emphasis on teamwork.
