Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Teller at our Shelburne, Vermont branch. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, resolving routine problems, and promoting a positive banking experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, adhering to established standards and delivering solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Educate customers through digital demonstrations, identify self-service opportunities, and proactively address customer needs.
  • Accurately balance and process customer transactions, following Bank Policy and ensuring efficient service.
  • Take ownership of escalated account services issues, complete and log customer complaints, and transition identified sales opportunities.
  • Complete branch-related operational activities, including cash ordering, vault management, and wire transfer activities.
  • Process customer/account maintenance accurately and complete Consumer AML/BSA/KYC activities.
  • Adhere to applicable compliance/operational risk controls and promote a diverse and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and minimum of 6 months customer service experience, including data entry and/or cash handling experience.
  • Proven verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service.
  • Well-organized, with proven time management and prioritization skills.
  • Proficient with internet user-level technology and ability to interact with customers in an open face-to-face work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual based on branch needs.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, prolonged use of hands and fingers, and ability to lift light to heavy objects weighing 5lbs – 30lbs.
