Job Summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a CT technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues
  • Position patients to capture the appropriate images
  • Administer contrast materials as directed by radiologists
  • Prepare and operate CT scan equipment
  • Assess patient's clinical history and adjust techniques and protocols as needed
  • Perform exams and transfer results to Picture Archive and Communication System (PACS)
  • Observe patients constantly and respond to any adverse reactions
  • Work with referring physicians to ensure correct exams are ordered and performed
  • Oversee maintenance of equipment to ensure full calibration and complete functioning
  • Keep abreast of new developments in the field by attending meetings and reviewing current literature
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
  • Current certification by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists
  • Current license by the State of Ohio as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of CT experience
  • Two years of diagnostic radiology experience to be eligible for on-site training in CT scanning
