Overview:
Acts as the primary liaison for patients and visitors, ensuring a warm welcome at Christus Health. Facilitates the operational flow of the health center by managing appointment scheduling, overseeing financial transactions, and ensuring the precision of patient information through the hospital's digital systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the financial transactions of patient accounts.
2. Execute posting tasks for institutional clients and scrutinize all billing activities associated with the accounts receivable system.
3. Address patient inquiries and resolve complaints regarding institutional billing.
4. Conduct order entry, patient registration, and various administrative tasks.
5. Train clerical personnel on accurate registration processes and patient report generation.
6. Undertake additional clerical responsibilities as required, including insurance verification, data recording, patient registration, and account updates.
7. Assist in scheduling patient appointments, manage phone communications, and inform patients about their benefits.
8. Perform other duties as necessary.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma required.
