Human Resources Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to join our team at Estes Forwarding Worldwide. The successful candidate will provide support to the Human Resources department by working on a variety of HR projects to expand knowledge and experience in various aspects of this discipline.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and monitor HR email inbox
- Assist with general employee inquiries
- Conduct new employee orientation and process new hire paperwork
- Assist with maintaining employee records, including filing and organization of the filing system
- Assist with maintaining company employee intranet system
- Assist with submitting pre-employment background checks and drug screens
- Complete registration process and attend career fairs
- Assist with a variety of projects and payroll audits
- Assist with organizing community outreach
- Assist the EFW Experience team with employee events
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office 2010
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and identify creative solutions
- Ability to read and interpret general business documents
- Ability to write routine reports and general business correspondence
Associates degree or equivalent from two year college or technical school; plus 3-6 years of administrative support and human resources experience, required.
