Overview:
The Health & Human Services Comm is seeking a highly skilled Patient Care Psychiatric Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our psychiatric services department, you will be responsible for conducting advanced psychiatric assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide medication management and therapy services to patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Stay up-to-date with the latest psychiatric research and best practices
Requirements:
- Board certification in psychiatry
- Current licensure as a medical doctor in the state of Texas
- At least three years of experience working as a psychiatrist
- Experience working with individuals with mental illness and intellectual disabilities
