Overview:

The Health & Human Services Comm is seeking a highly skilled Patient Care Psychiatric Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our psychiatric services department, you will be responsible for conducting advanced psychiatric assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide medication management and therapy services to patients
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest psychiatric research and best practices

Requirements:

  • Board certification in psychiatry
  • Current licensure as a medical doctor in the state of Texas
  • At least three years of experience working as a psychiatrist
  • Experience working with individuals with mental illness and intellectual disabilities
