Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Polysomnographic Technician to join our team at Highmark Health. As a Polysomnographic Technician, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive diagnostic evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all polysomnograms and MSLTs according to clinical practice guidelines and departmental policy and procedures.
  • Maintain proper calibration, quality control, and analysis of all polysomnographic equipment.
  • Organize and prioritize workload and scheduling of patient testing in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Assist with billing documentation and maintain department records according to departmental policy/procedure.
Requirements
  • Current BCLS certification required upon hire.
  • Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or completion of an approved sleep lab training program.
  • Basic EEG course.
  • RPSGT, CRT, RRT, or LPN certification.
  • Sleep study testing experience.
