Job Title: Registered Polysomnographic Technician

At State of Franklin Healthcare Associates, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Polysomnographic Technician to join our team. As a key member of our sleep medicine department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Job Summary:

The Registered Polysomnographic Technician will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and integrating patient information, completing and verifying documentation, and explaining pre-testing, testing, and post-testing procedures to patients. You will also prepare and calibrate equipment, apply electrodes and sensors, and perform polysomnographic data acquisition while monitoring study-tracing quality.

Responsibilities:
  • Collect, analyze, and integrate patient information.
  • Complete and verify documentation.
  • Explain pre-testing, testing, and post-testing procedures to patients.
  • Prepare and calibrate equipment.
  • Apply electrodes and sensors.
  • Perform polysomnographic data acquisition.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need an associate degree with an emphasis in polysomnography or completion of a polysomnography program of no less than one year duration associated with a state license and/or a nationally accredited educational facility. Additionally, you will need two years of experience and documented proficiency at all competencies required of a Polysomnographic Technologist.

Certifications and Licenses:

Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist is required.
