Job Title: Polysomnographic Technician

OU Health is seeking a skilled Polysomnographic Technician to join our team in the Sleep Lab. As a Polysomnographic Technician, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and ensure the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality technical services and support in the sleep lab.
  • Provide patient care, operate equipment, and carry out diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, including Polysomnographic Testing, CPAP Titration, and Multiple Sleep Latency Testing (MSLT).
  • Document physiological activity and abnormal readings, and provide detailed reports for physicians.
  • Calibrate, maintain, and clean equipment used by the department.
  • Utilize appropriate patient/family teaching methods and ensure education needs are met for both pre and post procedures.
Requirements:
  • Preferred Certified Polysomnographic Technician (CPSGT) certification.
  • Preferred candidates with six (6) months healthcare experience or current enrollment in an accredited educational program leading to a certificate or associate degree with an emphasis in sleep technology.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association prior to start.
