Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Service Operations Coordinator to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our service operations team, you will be responsible for managing service operations, scheduling, and customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage service operations, including scheduling, dispatching, and coordinating with technicians and customers.
  • Ensure timely completion of preventative maintenance and alignment with monthly forecasting goals.
  • Debrief activities of assigned technicians/mechanics daily, coordinating with technicians/mechanics to resolve concerns quickly.
  • Assess job completion and collaborate with Customer Billing Coordinators and Customer Support Coordinators to progress completed jobs through the appropriate business process.
  • Communicate with customers, answering inquiries and resolving or escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Ensure all customer account information required to support call management activities and scheduling of tasks are kept up to date in NxGen.
  • Participate in weekly planning/scheduling meetings and contribute to the development of service operations strategies.
  • Perform other duties and administrative activities as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, plus two to five years of service industry experience managing service operations and/or service scheduling.
  • Demonstrate the ability to perform work independently and demonstrate solid organizational and attention to detail skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both internal and external clients.
  • Able to prioritize work activities based upon financial impact to desired business goals.
  • Able to influence diverse teams to accomplish tasks/goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates degree preferred.
  • Experience and/or basic project accounting or costing principles is desired.
