Job Title: Lighting Quality Assurance Technician

The Lighting Quality Assurance Technician is a critical role within the Operations department at Fuse Technical Group. This position is responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of lighting equipment, from inventory management to deployment and testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of incoming lighting equipment to verify specifications and identify any defects or issues.
  • Prepare equipment for deployment by confirming specifications and conducting visual and measurement tests.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure seamless inventory management and deployment of lighting equipment.
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate records in the quality database.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and training.

Requirements:

  • Experience with conventional, LED, and/or automated lighting fixtures is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of power distribution and technical ability are also preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Physical Demands:

  • The ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • The ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • Physical movements such as bending, crouching, kneeling, pulling, pushing, sitting, standing, and walking.
