Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain innovative software solutions to transform service performance, durability, cost, and security.
- Write high-quality distributed system software.
- Collaborate with internal partners to develop and implement the next-gen platforms along with the tooling ecosystems to support these platforms.
- Develop tooling that provides the required visibility and control of traffic across the network, while prioritizing the automatic mitigation of events to minimize the impact to our customers during events.
- Gain world-class knowledge and expertise on the inner workings of the Internet.
- Define and design the next generation of Amazon's Software Defined Network (SDN) controllers.
- Collaborate with and learn from world leaders in distributed systems development and operations.
- Gain practical experience building incredible software using Amazon Web Services.

Basic Qualifications- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
