POSITION SUMMARY

As part of our ongoing expansion, we are seeking a DevOps Engineer to enhance our Digital Solutions team. This role focuses on the cloud infrastructure that underpins our applications, patient management systems, and security frameworks. You will contribute to the architectural vision and ensure the reliability of existing components.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain cloud-based applications.
  • Oversee existing system environments through proactive maintenance, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
  • Engage in Azure Pipelines and manage infrastructure configuration tasks, including build and release administration.
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to maintain and deploy essential infrastructure components across various environments.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Azure cloud implementations for performance, reliability, and security using tools like Azure Monitor and Azure Log Analytics.
  • Establish and uphold a robust security framework for all systems, including secrets management and secure coding practices.
  • Ensure quality, responsiveness, and availability in system and service design.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement new features.
  • Document processes according to medical device standards, including software requirements and validation protocols.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to define and develop new functionalities.
  • Adhere to internal software development and cybersecurity protocols to meet medical regulations.
  • Conduct debugging and testing of new system capabilities.
  • Guide the development of software and cloud service procedures, implementing industry best practices.
  • Innovate and develop new technologies.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Software, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of software engineering experience, particularly with a major cloud service provider (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS, Azure).
  • Proven experience in developing and deploying Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates, preferably using Terraform.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Preferred:

  • Advanced degree in Engineering, Software, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in the medical device sector, particularly with active implantable or Class III devices.
  • Proficiency in developing and deploying Azure services using C# and .NET Core.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps for code management and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity and data privacy issues.
  • Experience in developing mobile applications for iOS and Android.
