Deputy Chief Operating Officer - A Key Role in Driving Business Growth

The Deputy Chief Operating Officer will play a critical role in defining and managing the future operating model for The TCW Group, driving transformational growth across the business. This highly visible role will require strong leadership and collaboration with senior leaders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with senior leaders to serve as a key point of contact and help operate the business.
  • Lead large-scale projects to transform the business, driving efficiencies and cost containment initiatives.
  • Develop and implement location strategy, building out other offices in partnership with the CFO and facilities team.
  • Evaluate and partner with external vendors to drive efficiencies and utilize best practices.
  • Lead initiatives to understand data architecture and develop a data strategy with key stakeholders.
  • Partner with key teams on regulatory initiatives and manage a team of project managers focused on execution.
  • Collaborate with the CFO on administrative and budgeting exercises and partner with Human Resources to recruit talent and build teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 12+ years of experience overseeing multiple business operations, with technology operations and investment operations experience highly preferred.
  • Experience working with executive management teams and demonstrated experience in leading high-performing teams.

Estimated Compensation:
Base Salary: For CA-based position, the base salary range is $300k to $350k. This is an anticipated range only.
Other Compensation: Eligible to be considered for an annual discretionary bonus.
Benefits: Eligible for TCW's comprehensive benefits package.
