Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Bank Teller to join our team at American Bank of Commerce. As a Bank Teller, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and promoting the bank's services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process a variety of routine financial transactions, including check cashing, withdrawals, and deposits
  • Manage and balance cash drawers
  • Promote the bank's services and direct customers to appropriate departments for specialized services
  • Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when processing transactions
  • Adhere to all bank policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations
Requirements
  • Cash handling skills
  • Computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Windows
  • Active listening skills
  • Speaking skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with customers
  • Service orientation skills, including the ability to actively look for ways to help customers
  • Time management skills
  • Judgment and decision-making skills
  • Ability to lift heavy bags and boxes of coin
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure
