Position Summary: We are in search of a highly qualified and seasoned Survey Crew Chief to oversee our surveying team. In this pivotal role, you will lead a group of survey technicians in executing construction staking services across diverse projects. Your main objective will be to guarantee the precision and effectiveness of survey operations while complying with project schedules and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage a survey crew in carrying out construction staking activities, which encompass layout, boundary surveys, topographical surveys, hydrographic surveys, property surveys, and various control surveys.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other relevant parties to relay survey results and resolve any challenges that may arise during field operations.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior survey crew members, offering guidance and support to improve their competencies and performance.

Proficient understanding of Land Survey Techniques, Principles, and Standards. Ability to interpret documents such as safety regulations, operational guidelines, and procedural manuals.
Capability to utilize mathematical concepts, including basic algebra and geometry, for calculations.
Education and Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying, particularly in construction staking.
- In-depth knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and methodologies.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Familiarity with CAD software is advantageous.
