Job Summary

At Sandhill Holdings, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Crew Chief to lead our survey crew in performing construction staking services for various projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of survey operations while adhering to project timelines and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Leading and supervising a survey crew in performing construction staking tasks, including layout, boundary surveys, topographical surveys, hydrographic, property, and control surveys.
  2. Coordinating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to communicate survey findings and address any issues or concerns that may arise during fieldwork.
  3. Training and mentoring junior survey crew members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying, with a focus on construction staking.
  2. Strong knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and methodologies.
  3. A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  4. Proficiency in CAD software is a plus.
