We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warranty Claims Specialist to join our team at Hendrick Automotive Group. As a key member of our warranty team, you will be responsible for preparing and processing warranty claims, ensuring timely and accurate submissions to manufacturers and distributors.
Key Responsibilities- Process warranty claims in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and company policies.
- Verify and validate warranty claim criteria, ensuring compliance with manufacturer and distributor requirements.
- Post credits received for payment of warranty claims, maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Prepare and maintain warranty documentation, including CSI documents and warranty parts records.
- Follow up with manufacturers and distributors regarding unpaid claims, ensuring timely resolution.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, responding to customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, service, and parts, to ensure seamless warranty claim processing.
- Stay up-to-date with manufacturer and industry developments, ensuring compliance with changing regulations and guidelines.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in warranty administration, accounting, or a related field highly desirable.
- Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office products, with ability to learn and adapt to new software systems.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
This role requires regular and predictable attendance, with occasional evening and weekend hours. The work environment is primarily office-based, with occasional exposure to noise, vibration, and dust.
