Job Overview

The primary objective of this role is to efficiently manage all facets of inside sales for products and services that align with the needs of WPI clients. This position requires adept multitasking in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process customer orders or inquiries via phone, fax, email, or in-person
  • Verify order details for precision, cross-checking with serial numbers, and input orders into the WPI system
  • Provide quotations for overhauls and spare parts as necessary
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace
  • Log stock orders into the system
  • Assist in the maintenance of files, records, and customer data
  • Be available for on-call duties after a six-month period from the date of hire
  • Handle urgent orders from suppliers and update customer requests accordingly
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory
  • Preferred background in mechanics or related knowledge
Skills and Competencies
  • Ability to achieve the goals and objectives established by the organization
  • Capability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proficient in computer usage, particularly in a Windows environment
  • Dependable and capable of working independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills to maintain positive client relationships
  • Proficient in operating various office equipment (fax, scanner, printer, copier, etc.)
  • Ability to operate a forklift effectively
