Job Overview

Harmonia Holdings Group, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to join our team. As a critical member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall uptime, security, and performance of our iPERMS application.

This role requires a strong skillset in managing IT systems, with a focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments and IT support staff. You will oversee security protocols aligned with the Risk Management Framework, perform system vulnerability assessments and remediation, and implement patch management.

As a key member of our team, you will provide vital support for system upgrades, hardware replacements, and troubleshooting technical issues. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth and secure operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and maintain the iPERMS IT infrastructure, including servers and storage.
  • Manage the security and performance of IT systems while ensuring compliance with RMF requirements.
  • Lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Review vulnerability scans, implement improvements, and oversee the patch management process for all managed systems.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues.
  • Stay updated on the latest technical developments and implement industry-proven best practices.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of IT hardware replacements and system upgrades.
  • Enforce Government computer and information security policies and procedures.
  • Act as a liaison with the customer, internal team, and external stakeholders.
  • Provide support to the Information Assurance team while ensuring adherence to security protocols.
  • Attend meetings and perform administrative duties as required.
Requirements
  • Red Hat Satellite and Ansible experience.
  • Ability to perform automated system builds utilizing Satellite/Kickstart.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator/Engineer (RHCSA/RHCSE) certification.
  • Strong understanding of IT operating systems and environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of system administration principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with SAN storage and Brocade switch fabric administration.
  • Experience with VMware, vSAN, and VxRail.
  • Familiarity with Security Technical Implementation Guide checklists.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology or related field (highly desirable).
  • 7+ years of experience as a Red Hat Enterprise Linux System Administrator.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to climb ladders and lift items weighing up to 40 pounds.
