Job Opportunity in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery

The Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Virginia Health System is seeking a highly qualified candidate for a tenure-eligible faculty position specializing in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

About the Department

The department serves as the ophthalmic referral center for central and western Virginia, as well as parts of West Virginia, North Carolina, and eastern Tennessee. This provides an abundance of patient volume, offering excellent opportunities for advancement in ophthalmology.

Qualifications
  • MD degree
  • American Board of Ophthalmology certification or board eligibility
  • Fellowship training required

The incumbent must be committed to a career in academic medicine and interested in combining clinical practice with resident education and/or research. Rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.
