The Talent Acquisition Specialist will devise local recruitment strategies aimed at attracting new talent. This role involves engaging with candidates through the applicant tracking system, conducting interviews, onboarding new hires, and coordinating orientation schedules. - Develop applicant pools by researching and reaching out to community organizations, educational institutions, employment agencies, and participating in local hiring events
- Assess applicant qualifications through reviews and interviews, analyzing responses to determine suitable candidates for offers
- Guide applicants through the onboarding process, including conducting background checks, collecting necessary new hire documentation, completing E-Verify, and ensuring a complete and compliant new hire file
- Facilitate a smooth onboarding experience, focusing on compliance and creating a positive first impression of Help at Home
- Organize and conduct New Hire orientation sessions on a weekly basis or as required
- Maintain the applicant tracking system, updating it at each stage of the hiring process
- Act as a brand ambassador, enhancing our reputation management by encouraging new hires to complete feedback surveys
- Collect and analyze metrics and data to monitor hiring progress for assigned branches
- High school diploma or GED is required
- At least one year of prior recruiting experience is necessary
- Some college-level education is preferred
