About the Role

Marriott International, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Executive Chef to join our team at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality food to our guests.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual who can manage kitchen operations, supervise staff, and maintain a clean and safe work environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of related work experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
  • Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables.
  • Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
  • Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
  • Test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently.
  • Monitor food quality while preparing food.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • Licenses or certifications: None.
