Job Summary

The CCG Business Development Representative is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, as well as maintaining existing end-user workwear programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maximize revenue generation by identifying and calling on end-user leads and prospects
  • Align with the annual CCG Sales goal and revenue plan, preparing targets, strategy, and activity within the focus industry to support goal achievement
  • Maintain industry expertise and inform leadership, peers, and associates of industry trends affecting the CCG business
  • Develop and maintain subject matter expertise for assigned focus industries
  • Develop a monthly calendar of activities resulting in revenue generation and supporting corporate strategy
  • Effectively navigate large and complex organizations
  • Research end-user potential decision-makers and organizations to identify new sales opportunities within target industries for continued growth of the CCG business unit
  • Assess and assign end-user opportunities to the appropriate channel partner(s) based on end-user customer needs
  • Maintain accurate records of activity in Sales Force (CRM)
  • Utilize Sales Force (CRM) to provide visibility on total pipeline volume and rate of confidence to close deals
  • Deliver effective, tailored messages to all levels of end-user organizations
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, seminars, joint distributor sales calls, end-user meetings, and training events
  • Maintain and support the CCG RFP/Flagship Opportunity process with cross-functional partners
  • Collaborate with cross-functional CCG departments, including marketing, merchandising, and planning
  • Understand and execute corporate objectives
  • Adhere to sales policies and procedures and manage expenses according to corporate guidelines
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in business or related field) or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years outside sales or marketing experience required; apparel industry preferred; to include a minimum of 1 year of industrial/B2B experience required
  • Above-average skills in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Work Environment

Typical work from home and/or office environment. Extended periods of time sitting, standing, typing on a computer are required. National and/or international travel required (up to 80%). May be required to lift up to 30lbs.
