Job Title: Social Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker to join our team at Family Service League Inc.

Job Summary:

The Social Worker will provide individual and group therapy to children, families, and adults with a full range of DSM diagnoses in an integrated licensed clinic, providing both substance use, mental health, and primary care services.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct intake assessments and provide individual and group therapy to adults, adolescents, and children with the full range of DSM diagnoses.
  • Complete all clinical documentation in accordance with NYS Office of Mental Health in an electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Provide linkage and follow up to clients during stabilization period and immediately following.
  • Coordinate with outside providers and collateral contacts.
  • Attend routine supervisions and team meetings.
  • Coordinate treatment with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with others, both internally and externally.
  • Foster teamwork, work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in social work required.
  • LMSW, LMHC, LMFT or related licensed clinical degree required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a behavioral health setting required; clinic experience preferred.
  • Valid and clean NYS Driver's License required.
