About the Role

At EmpowerMe Wellness, we're seeking a highly skilled Geriatric Care Professional to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Geriatric Care Professional, you will work with seniors in various care settings, providing expert speech-language pathology services to enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for residents
  • Deliver therapy services in an interdisciplinary environment, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintain professional standards and adhere to company policies and clinical initiatives
  • Participate in program development, quality improvement, and problem-solving efforts to optimize resident outcomes
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited Speech-Language Pathologist program (New Grads Welcome)
  • Current state licensure in SLP and documentation of ASHA certification (active or inactive)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as a results-oriented mindset with critical thinking abilities
  • Tech-savvy skills and a knack for finding solutions
