Position Overview:

The Security Administrator plays a crucial role within the Booz Allen Hamilton corporate security team, focusing on the evaluation of U.S. government security protocols and practices for a Personnel Security (PERSEC) program. This role adheres to the guidelines set forth by the NISPOM, DCIDs, ICDs, and other governmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate effectively within a team, demonstrating adaptability and the ability to prioritize tasks while managing client expectations in a dynamic setting.
  • Conduct security briefings and perform clearance pre-screens, ensuring staff are processed for clearance actions.
  • Verify and submit visit requests, maintain and update various databases, and review documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Address PERSEC inquiries from employees and manage assigned tasks independently while contributing to team objectives.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in personnel and industrial security.
  • Familiarity with DISS, NBIS, SWFT, and eAPP systems.
  • Understanding of NISPOM, DoD directives, EOs, or ICDs.
  • Possession of a Secret clearance.
  • High School diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Facility Security Officer (FSO) or Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Top Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in personnel and industrial security.
  • Completion of DCSA courses, including Personnel Security Management and Introduction to DoD Personnel Security Adjudication.

Clearance Requirements:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.

Compensation Structure:

Compensation is determined by various factors, including location, education, skills, and experience. The projected salary range for this position is $46,900.00 to $96,000.00 annually.
